Remember – Times are those for leaving.  Please aim to arrive 10 minutes beforehand, to allow the leader to sort numbers etc.

Further Walk Information

  • Walk grades are given.  Descriptions for the walk grades are given on the back of the programme.   As far as possible, length and height climbed, along with terrain are stated for each walk.
  • Please contact the Walk Leader for any further information on walk, if necessary.  Contact number is given.
  • Grade A walks are very strenuous. If you have any doubts about being able to complete the walk, it is essential that you contact the Walk Leader beforehand.
  • We do try and get information in the Greenock Telegraph, but have no control over when, or if, it will actually be inserted, and they will adjust content to suit space.  When in doubt contact the leader!
  • We will endeavour to keep the website up-to-date, but again, nothing beats a simple phonecall.
  • Always carry emergency contact details on walks: keep emergency contact details and any necessary medical information on your person and if you have a mobile store an ‘in case of emergency’ (ICE) number on it.

Further Contacts:

  • Walks Programme Secretary  Joan Boyle               01475 639639 or 07479511658
  • Secretary                                      David Souza            01475 631654
  • Chairperson                                Peter McElwee         01475638786 or 07923472720
